Adventure Playground
We have made an Adventure Course along one side of our filed so that children can play together whilst we are cooking at one of our overnight events. So far we have a tyre swing, a trapeze, a nest swing and a baby swing. We also have a rope bridge, cargo net, rope ladder and fallen tree with a swing to play on. These are close by our Woodpecker Tree and our Bird, Bee and Butterfly hedge.
We are the only Nursery & Forest School employing a dedicated full-time Adventure, whose role it is at assist the children physically to achieve their dreams and wishes (ie. Making bows and arrows or a tree house or fairly stage.
Gardening
The Children have always had a vegetable garden here but we are now planning to start a large Kitchen Garden as part of our healthy, Eco-Nursery way to life. Each Spring the children will choose which vegetables they want to grow and we will all grow them together, although the children realize that they are responsible for their garden.
